What is wholesale SIP trunking and how does it work?

A SIP trunk connects your phone system to the public telephone network over your internet connection, replacing physical lines. Wholesale means you buy that capacity at carrier rates, in channels rather than per seat, and route it yourself. We hand you registered trunks or IP-authenticated capacity, you point your PBX or softswitch at them, and you keep your own dial plan.

What makes Nova Wholesale Bridge different from a reseller?

We operate our own autonomous system with Tier-1 IP transit and connect directly to US carriers, so there is no wholesale layer between you and termination. When a route degrades, an engineer here changes the routing rather than opening a ticket with a supplier.

Do you provide numbers in every US area code?

Yes. Local DIDs are available in every US area code, along with the full toll-free set, 800, 833, 844, 855, 866, 877 and 888. E911 addresses are registered at provisioning as the FCC requires.

Can I connect an AI voice agent to your trunks?

Yes, and it is a large part of what we carry. ElevenLabs, Vapi, LiveKit, Retell and custom stacks all connect over standard SIP, inbound and outbound. Because the integration is plain SIP rather than a proprietary API, changing agent platform later means repointing a trunk rather than rebuilding your telephony.

Will my outbound calls be signed with STIR/SHAKEN?

Calls are signed on the way out, and numbers we issue you get full attestation. That does not guarantee a clean caller ID display, because the analytics engines also score dialling behavior, but it removes the most common technical reason for being labeled Spam Likely.

How quickly can trunks and numbers go live?

Most SIP trunk and DID orders are live the same day or the next. Larger wholesale rollouts take longer depending on how many trunks are involved, and we will give you a realistic date rather than a best case.
